Energy and Power Generation
The Energy and Power Generation industry has been a large part of our business since AMT was formed in 1983. AMT routinely makes prototypes, fixtures, and test equipment servicing the steam turbine, gas turbine, wind turbine, jet engine, and fuel cell industries. As many of these projects involve failure analysis the supporting parts and test equipment must often be more heat resistant than the actual test piece. Thusly most of our work in this field involves the machining of exotic super alloys like Hastelloy-X, Haynes 188, all forms of Inconel, Waspalloy, Titanium, and many others.
